What Boxing Arcade is, what it is not, and what you should not rely on it for.

This is entertainment, not instruction
Boxing Arcade publishes arcade video games and writing about arcade video games. Nothing on this site is boxing coaching, athletic instruction, fitness advice or medical advice. Our games are stylised arcade abstractions and do not model real boxing technique. Do not use anything here as guidance for physical training or for participating in a combat sport. If you want to learn boxing, work with a qualified coach in person.
No health or fitness claims
We make no claim that playing these games improves your reflexes, hand-eye coordination, cognitive performance, fitness or anything else outside the games themselves. Where our games measure a reaction time, that measurement is a game statistic: it includes your keyboard, browser and display latency, it is not taken under controlled conditions, and it is not a clinical or diagnostic measure of anything. It is useful for comparing your own results on your own equipment over time, and for nothing else.
Fiction
Every fighter, opponent name, nickname, fighting style, arena, venue, tournament, title and trophy on this site is invented. Any resemblance to a real person, living or dead, or to a real competition, promotion or organisation, is coincidental and unintended.
No affiliation or endorsement
Boxing Arcade is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or connected to any boxing sanctioning body, promotion, gym, athlete, broadcaster or video game publisher. Where a guide mentions a real-world topic — the history of boxing games, for example — that is editorial commentary and implies no relationship of any kind.
Accuracy of game documentation
We quote real tuning values from our source code on our game pages, and we try to keep them current. Games do get rebalanced. If a figure on a page does not match what the game does, the game is correct and the page is out of date — please tell us and we will fix it.
Availability
Games are provided free and as-is. Browser behaviour varies, and we cannot guarantee that every game will work perfectly in every browser, on every device, or in every configuration. Features such as fullscreen, the Web Share API and audio are subject to browser support and to your own settings.
Locally stored data
Your scores, favourites and history exist only in your browser's storage. Clearing site data, using a private window, switching browsers or switching devices will lose them. We hold no copy and cannot recover them.
Advertising
This site may display third-party advertising. Adverts are clearly labelled and placed between content sections, away from game controls. We do not select, review or endorse individual adverts and we are not responsible for advertisers' products, services or claims. We never ask anyone to click an advert.
External links
Links to external sites are provided for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
