How this library is organised

The 30 games here are split across 6 categories, and the split is by skill rather than by theme. Fighting games are full duels. Training games isolate one measurable skill with nothing hitting back. Survival games remove the finish line and make your health carry. Reflex games compress everything into a reaction window. Runner and dodge games are won by movement. Championship games are long runs against escalating opposition on a single health bar.

The difficulty badges mean something specific. They map to real tuning values — reaction windows, opponent speed, guard rates, damage multipliers — defined in one place and applied consistently across the catalogue. An Expert-rated game genuinely runs a 0.26-second opponent reaction window; an Easy one runs 0.68. If you are new, start with something rated Easy and work upward.

Because every game shares the same engine, the vocabulary transfers. A jab recovers in the same 0.115 seconds everywhere. A counter is worth the same 1.7× everywhere. Learning to read a wind-up in Retro Ring Duel is directly useful in Ultimate Boxing Arcade, which is the point of building them on one system.
